The Turkish Government Scholarship 2022-2023 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. The scholarship is open to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. The Turkiye Burslari scholarship includes a stipend of up to R1,600 per month, tuition fees, round-trip airfare, health insurance and accommodation. To receive a Turkish Government Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Language required: English or Turkish
Eligible countries: all countries in the world
Minimum academic criteria:
Minimum academic grade for bachelor’s degree applicants :70%
Minimum academic grade for master’s and Doctoral degree applicants :75%
Minimum academic achievement for health sciences (medicine, dentistry and pharmacy) applicants :90%
Must be under 21 years of age
Master candidates should be under 30 years old
PhD candidates should be under 35 years of age
Graduates or applicants who are able to graduate by the end of the current academic year (by June 2020)

Turkish citizens and persons who have lost Turkish nationality
Students who are already registered at the study level of the Turkish university to which they are applying
You should have a TOEFL or IELTS certificate. The certificate is an international benchmark that shows you are competent enough to study English courses at university.
It is recommended that you produce a formal academic record showing all certificates, courses and grades that you may have obtained during your academic career.
You need to provide a letter stating the purpose of your application for the scholarship. If your statement of purpose needs improvement and essential key points are missing from your SOP, you may be rejected.
Applicants must not have any health problems.

How to apply for a Turkish Government Scholarship?
To apply for a Turkish Government Scholarship, follow the following steps:
Students can only apply for alone through www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.
No authorized institutions or individuals apply for Turkiye scholarships.
Candidates should read the instructions and warnings in the application system carefully.
Applicants are required to submit and upload the necessary documents to the application system.
Applications submitted by post, Courier or by hand will not be accepted.
Application is free.
Turkiye scholarships include both scholarships and university internships. Applicants will select a university and program from among the 12 preferred universities and programs they select in the application system
